Hello, i have some questions and i hope someone can answer or help me grasp things more clearly.
why do we feel so empty and so meaningless, i just feel so purposeless in life that i dnt even wanna try. And it always have been like this, i never wanted to live or ro be born in the first place and i dnt find a reason to end my life too ( and because of relegious belief) but the fact that i see people around me setting goals and trying to achieve them, people who never gave up despite the ods, who clinge to life and fight, who tries their best, they amaze me because i just snt see what it’s worth fighting for in this life, You can’t find happiness. You always end up struggling against something and for something.

I would like to read more about your personal experience of life. You wrote: “You always end up struggling against something and for something”. I wonder what things you struggled against and what things you struggled for (?)

June 10, 2020 at 4:02 pm #358198LokiParticipantDear anita, well my relationships ( 3) i was engaged in one of them, my studies, work. But it’s not the fact that i’m always having diffculties that makes le feel this way. My point was the struggle is a part of life and it’s pointless since you can’t achieve happiness and wholeness
June 10, 2020 at 5:07 pm #358200AnonymousGuestDear Loki:
You are struggling too much. Some of your struggles are not necessary, meaning it’s possible for you to struggle less in the future, starting today. If you struggle less, you will not be as tired and as depressed as you have been for so long. Maybe you will not “achieve happiness and wholeness” any time soon, if ever (I haven’t achieved that and I don’t know anyone who has), but you can live an easier life, and a life with meaning.
Key is to learn from the experiences you had, figure out what you personally value, what you personally want and how to go about it. It is easier to live life with eyes wide open than it is with eyes closed. The actual opening of the eyes aka learning, can be the meaning in life that will make you want to live. If what I wrote to you means something to you, please let me know and we can continue to communicate.

Thank you for your attention and taking time to read and write to me.
- I apologize for the late reply. Actually i don’t think that i’ll ever find the answer, maybe not this way. I’ve had this kind of conversation with a friend. And even with myself in the end it’s not enaugh ( u didn’t say anything wrong) . Somhow i din’t even what i’m seeking. I agree with you about the struggling part though, maybe i overdid things while i still feel like i didn’t do enaugh. And those losses dug uo the emptiness even deeper in me
June 14, 2020 at 4:42 pm #358565LokiParticipantIn addition to the first part
The thing is i don’t seem to find the answer that satisfy me

You are welcome. You shared so little about yourself and therefore I know very little about you. Let me see what you shared: you feel “empty and so meaningless.. purposeless in life”, you are not motivated (“don’t even wanna try”). And it has been like this for you, for a long, long time, feels like “it always have been like this”.
You see people around you setting goals and trying to achieve them, not giving up in spite of the odds against them, trying their best.. and they amaze you because you don’t understand their motivation. For you, life is not motivating- it is purposeless and meaningless and you don’t even care to live. To you, life is not “worth fighting for”.
You had three relationships and you mentioned studies and work, so I am thinking you may be in your early twenties, a student who works part time, maybe. And you mentioned a friend, so you do have a friend.
In your recent post you wrote: “I don’t think that I’ll ever find the answer… I don’t seem to find the answer that satisfy me”
– Sometimes we ask the wrong question and therefore we cannot find the right answer. This is why I ask you: will you please state your question?
