Hello lovely souls,
Thankfully I am alive, I’ve had several LSD bad trips, through them I’ve suffered from psychologically “missing part” problem, feel like I have a black hole in me, something is not right, this type of feelings.
also LSD trips introduced my to deeper spiritual meaning and changed my perspective to the world and one’s self and others
I now lost my authenticity and my soul through this experience I got disconnected from myself, other’s and reality.
I got into drug addiction, trying to live with psychological and spiritual damage, So I got to recovery from addiction and it point me to grow spiritually, but I discovered that my consciousness is stuck in a mental situation and that led me to a lot of mis-understanding, delusions and illusions.
Now I can’t get to know where my consciousness is at and I feel like I won’t be at peace as I can’t get to be in peace with myself.
thanks in advance.

LSD is a hallucinogen, a psychoactive drug. Wikipedia, in its entry on Dissociatives reads: “Dissociatives are a class of hallucinogen which distort perceptions of sight and sound and produce feelings of detachment- dissociation- from the environment and self.
Although many kinds of drugs are capable of such action, dissociatives are unique in that they do so in such a way that produce hallucinogenic effects, which may include sensory deprivation, dissociation, hallucinations, and dream-like states or trances… dissociative effects including: depersonalization, the feeling of being unreal, disconnected from one’s self, or unable to control one’s actions; and derealization, the feeling that the outside world is unreal or that one is dreaming”.
I hope that as you abstain from the use hallucinogens for long enough- the hallucinogenic effects caused by having used LSD will lessen and lessen. I hope that a competent medical doctor who is familiar with the effects of hallucinogens on the brain will help you in your healing and recovery process.

You are welcome. You wrote that you are looking for spiritual help. I would like to give you suggestions regarding spiritual help, only I don’t know yet what you mean by spiritual help (different people mean different things by the word spiritual)- can you tell me what spiritual specifically means to you?

By Spiritual, I mean the soul, my soul/consciousness, I want to fly. 🙂
November 25, 2020 at 11:54 am #369884AnonymousGuestDear Mak:
Can you elaborate on wanting to fly?

I wanna free mySoul from any condition,
also in same time I don’t wanna break my body mind system.
I felt a lot of unreal spiritual aspects, that’s an obstacle.

Wikipedia in its entry on soul, reads: “Soul.. comprises the mental abilities of a living being: reason.. consciousness, memory, perception, thinking, etc.”. Soul is made possible by our brain; no brain- no soul.
Do you agree, or do you believe that Soul is separate and independent from the brain?

November 25, 2020 at 1:54 pm #369890MakParticipantDear Anita,
I believe that soul is not separate from the brain, but In-dependent, It’s everyone’s essences. It is what makes the body alive and what makes Life manifest.

You believe that the soul is not separate from the brain, but “in-dependent” from the brain? I need to know what you mean by “In-dependent”, if you are okay explaining what you mean by it, as specifically as you can?

November 25, 2020 at 2:24 pm #369897MakParticipantDear Anita,
I mean I doesn’t need the body to stay alive, It has been alive and It will ever be.
I don’t know further to explain honestly. I feel lost in words.
I tried to understand(to reach realizations), but I failed to get a meaning, I have read a lot, but I got that everyone sees it as from his/her perspective. I think that I can’t get that in-dependent perception in life, as I used to view life and myself from outside source.

I appreciate your explanation, it helps me understand better. I want to re-read your posts and give you a thoughtful reply tomorrow morning, when I am rested and focused. I will therefore be back to you in about 13 hours from now.

The title of your thread is “Something missing“. This is what you wrote about what’s missing: “I’ve suffered from psychologically ‘missing part‘ problem, feel like I have a black hole in me, something is not right… I lost my authenticity and my soul.. I got disconnected from myself, others, and reality… my consciousness is stuck in.. a lot of mis-understanding, delusions and illusions… I can’t get to be in peace with myself… I want to fly… I wanna free my Soul… soul is not separate from the brain.. It’s everyone’s essences. It is what makes the body alive and what makes Life manifest.. (the soul) doesn’t need the body to stay alive, It has been alive and It will ever be… ”
My input today: we humans are social animals. As social animals, we are people who need people. When a social animal, such as a dog, a coyote, a wolf, a deer, a human.. finds itself alone for too long, disconnected from others, the experience of life becomes that of Something missing, a missing part, a black hole, something is not right, disconnected, stuck, inauthentic, misunderstanding, delusions and illusions, not being in peace with oneself, stuck, not free- all the words that you used, italicized above.
In other words: a human cannot be okay alone for too long. When the social is taken out of the social-being (ex. human), the being is left with Something missing, and that something-missing is a connection with other humans.
When a human, is alone for too long, an intense emotional experience of fear and despair intensifies and becomes so overwhelming that the brain/ body shuts down, and what results is a disturbing numbness, a feeling of profound disconnection from self, others and reality. That very disconnection is a state of imprisonment. We cannot be free unless we connect with others; the authentic human experience is that of connecting with other humans.
If what I wrote connects to you, or if it doesn’t- please let me know, and we can discuss this further.

November 26, 2020 at 4:49 pm #369957MakParticipantDear Anita,
Thank you so much for the feedback, It’a right, I am partially judgemental with other’s and one’s self, I categorize people in different ways. Now I’m in rehab house where I broke off addiction and got start communication, but I couldn’t find a connection and that got my disconnected with myself, as I couldn’t balance between being by myself and with others.
Also I feel like I put pressure on my self and sabotage myself when I connect with people I feel like I have to do so, Not like I want to do so, I feel I can’t Let go while around people. Experienced a lot of shyness to deal with others.
thank you 🙂
