Im struggling to find words, I got dumped by my soulmate (and am still waiting for the other to message me back btw) I confronted my mother on how she treats me and her drinking problem and instead of improvement Everything is now worse and i feel like we may have to move out sooner than expected. I feel like the breakup was the first in a thousand dominos of PURGING so many things in my life. I am trying to look at this spiritually, like this is my chance to create something from all the damage but i also just want to cry and leave everything behind. Everything is changing. It feels like it will be a good thing? but it feels horrible.

    Dear Erin:

I am sorry that you are feeling so badly and hope that your situation and feeling improves soon. You wrote that your soulmate broke up with you, and that you are waiting for the other to message you. The other, according to your previous thread, is one of the three involved in the 3-year long polyamorous relationship that ended recently (you, a man who you refer to as your soulmate, and third person person whom you didn’t love as much as you loved your soulmate).

You mentioned that you confronted your mother about her treatment of you and her drinking, and as a result, “we may have to move out sooner than expected”-

    – who is “we”?

We is my stepsister and I! She said if they kicked me out shed go to and if she wasnt there to defend me this confrontation wouldnt go as smoothly as it did. My mother seems to have taken what we said to heart. I feel a huge shift!

    Dear Erin:

In your original post, you wrote: “Everything is changing. It feels like it will be a good thing? but it feels horrible”-

    – change is often uncomfortable, and sometimes it feels horrible even though it is a good thing. To no longer live with a mother who mistreats you is definitely a good thing even when it feels horrible. Same is true about ending a romantic relationship that caused you much distress for too long.

In your recent post you wrote: “My mother seems to have taken what we said to heart. I feel a huge shift!”- I am not sure I understand: are you saying that your mother changed her mind and no longer wants you (and your step sister) to move out?
