It sounds to me like you’re too worried about what you “should” be doing by social standards and not concerned enough with what will make you truly happy. Your friends have all done what they’re “supposed” to have done, but how many of them have found fulfillment and enlightenment? At the end of the day, you’re the only one who has to be at peace with your decisions. I would recommend taking some time, perhaps writing it out. What in life makes you happiest? If you died today, what would you regret not having the opportunity to have done? I understand that sometimes following our passions requires resources like time and money that we don’t feel like we have. But I also know that, once our Higher Selves have set a concrete goal, the Universe has a way of providing the opportunities along our path that will lead us there. My advice, I suppose, isto decide what, right now- in this moment, you believe matters most to your ultimate happiness. Even if it goes against what is expected of you from the outside world. Then just keep your eyes and your heart open to the doors of opportunity that will undoubtedly begin to open for you.
