I appreciate you replying to me. The reason I copied what wrote on this thread (topic: ART) and pasted it on the other thread (topic: relationship) is because the two topics are not separate.

Here you wrote in the latest post that you have feelings on the inside, stuff you cannot readily talk about, things that are not easily defined; things you wouldn’t tell others because they would think you are odd, complex issues…

These very issues, these very things that you express in your art, play a very meaningful part in your relationship on the other thread. The relationship… do you not wish it was like your art: you paint it, as undefined and complex as it is, and leave it at that. Instead, in the relationship, he won’t leave it at that, complex and undefined. He needs clarity, simplification. Different rules to a relationship, different kind of communication… a different medium.

I believe if you integrate the two, if you express those complex issues to your husband, communicate back and forth about those… that will be a great help to you as an individual AND to the relationship of the two of you.

Any of this …means something to you…?
