I think it is much more inappropriate for people to be touting tablets on Amazon, when it is highly possible that they are material benefactors from such sales. To me, that is “inapprorpriate content”, not talking about the use of enemas for colon cleansing! Our capitalistic society is brainwashed into thinking that buying expensive things is always the best solution. Very troubling. IMHO, Letting your body be it’s own healer whenever possible is the path of great enlightenment!

This is rather outrageous. That the concept of enema is offensive is why this important healing technique is not promoted in America. Yet it should be not only promoted but hailed for its healing benefits. You CAN actually go to colon lavage centers where they will perform enemas/colon lavage for you, but it is cost prohibitive for many, so better to learn how to self administer them, a technique which can be found in books, etc.
To whomever is policing these forums, please understand that thinking of the enema procedure as obscene is a form of puritannical ignorance.

As you are having a colonoscopy and are going into it with extreme constipation, you may face what they term a “difficult colonoscopy”. You might want to read this from a scientific journal: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3992064/
Note that the writer stresses manual massage/manipulation of the colon for difficult cases, which he says he feels his profession lacks awareness of. Bottom line is that to get things moving through the colon, massage is a professional endorsed method/ I’m not making this up.
I am sure that herbal tablets may have excellent benefits for many. But in cases of neuro-toxicity, the fewer chemical or even herbal interventions relied upon for bowel movements/colon contractions, the faster you can expect real healing of your colon . You need to calm things down at the cellular level because even minor inflammatory responses prevent your organs from going into healing mode. There is a lot of research on that too. (So herbs and foods that are anti-inflammatory are def your friends in healing.) Massage and enemas are not irritating to the colon wall at the cellular level, which is why I think it is a good option for you. It certainly has been a hard-earned miracle for me anyway.

First off, I really think you have anorexia. (I’ve had bouts over the years myself.) Anorexia is the #1 most dangerous mental illness / many people die from it. So maybe you need to talk to someone who specializes in helping with anorexia recovery.
Next, stop feeling so bad about being alone. It can actually be a blessing imho. I was alone all day and didn’t talk to anyone but my pet rabbit. I have no living relatives, and therefore no one to be abusive toward me. They were cruel mental illness-ravaged people and destructive/lived short lives.
Lastly, you sound smart. Use your brain and don’t have so much reliance on doctors. You are going to have to learn more about colon anatomy. Doctors will not teach you this. Find a current copy of Grey’s Anatomy and study it. My guess is you could have a problem similar to my own, having had to take medicine that was apparently neuro-toxic to my colon’s viscera. The only thing that works for me are tap water full flush enemas— at least a good flush bi-weekly. You have to persistently massage your colon before and during the treatment along the path that the descending colon takes past the ileac fossa jag and into the sigmoid colon. This is why you need to be able to visualize the anatomy: you need to massage the path as accurately as possible to get the dried bolus material moving!! btw, You may need to use some glycerin suppositories if you have a good deal of semi-impacted stuff in your rectum. Just don’t be grossed out. It’s your own body so try not to let what comes out of it be a source of disgust. If you want more specific directions regarding flushing I can add those later. It will probably will require a year or more of this process to regain the nerve paths in your colon so that you have normal bowel movement again. But if you go the doctor-surgeon- hospital route, those nerves will never regenerate and you will wind up needing surgery and colostomy bags etc.
When you have nerve damage due to neuro-toxic medications like opioids, you need to keep your colon as clean and unblocked as possible so that the colon wall is not stretched or inflamed. Only then can it begin to heal and repair the nerve myelin, etc.
Sorry to be so scientific and not sympathetic sounding. But I am VERY sympathetic which is why I am sharing what I have learned in order to heal my own colon. It has changed my life. I am now pain free and enjoy food again. My colon needed a year of the enema work to heal btw. Take care!!
