Thank you for pointing to the difference between cryptography/ cryptology and sociolinguistics.

I support your lack of motivation to contribute to the atomic bombs industry! Regarding the average salaries- how much a person gets paid has a lot to do with WHO is paying and is there a UNION/ legal power behind the employees. People with the same education and position will not get paid the same- it depends on the wealth of the employer (be it government of private) and the political power of the legal institution behind them, such as a union.

I am not an expert and I didn’t read the above anywhere- this is my personal observations and understanding of basics. What do you think?
