My ex doesn’t want to get back together. He just wants to hook up without the relationship part.

After hearing this I cut off from him. And went to a friend of mine to tell her and seek advice. But I’m not sure if telling her was a good idea.. Because I have this constant thought that she will tell people about it. And I feel ashame. But it was troubling me keeping it in all the time.

Was it a mistake? Should I’ve kept quite about it?
