About your people pleasing regarding your therapist- this is your opportunity to address the issue in therapy in a personal way: there you are afraid to displease her by stopping therapy, feeling anxious about it- talk to her about it, as difficult as it will be. She should be honest and supportive of you on this matter, as on any other matter.
