So I don’t follow rigorous practices of spirituality but I have developed some stuff combining external knowledge and my own intuition on how I wanna do it.. The most important thing is to be constantly mindful about your thoughts, emotions and actions. Everyone has light and dark inside and this is absolutely normal but it takes practice to know how to tame the darkness. The best thing to consider is how useless negativity really is. Even when we think we’re right sometimes it’s still better not to give in to arrogance, resentment, aggression ecc. It just doesn’t do good for you on the long term, you probably know that. All we really want is peace and love. That’s it. So learning the art of observing yourself and taming the irrational beast inside with simple spiritual logic is crucial. Check the native american story of the two wolves, it describes in a very beautiful way my point. Other than that you can meditate. I like it, just sitting in the couch and chillaxing, if you enjoy it you’ll naturally ignore thoughts that arise. This is very useful for us to realise how our observing eternal self is separate from those random thought patterns. I also enjoy doing chi gong and holotropic breathwork but I don’t practice them often. (During holotropic breathwork you can do trauma healing and connect to other dimensions, I was touched once by the vibrating hand of something that wanted to comfort me from the other side). Watch the spiritual youtube, read books, subscribe to Gaia if you want. But chose to follow what you feel drawn to, that’s very important. That’s about it. Peace.
