Sunday was indeed partly a FunDay! The recent few years of increasing frequency and size of wildfires here on the West Coast is a result of escalating climate change: because of rising temperatures and droughts, trees and other vegetation  become very dry and easily catch on fire. You are on the East coast where climate-change related increasing frequency and size of hurricanes take place: anything like that in your area?
