I feel good on my way to self-compassion when I allow myself to be open to negativity or criticism. I am learning to accept this and it makes me feel better and more stable. I have achieved something in my head and in my heart that I don’t identify with negativity and criticism. I can accept it, explore it, learn from it and let it go.
I don’t feel “attacked” or “hurt” when I receive harshness anymore. And I have my little prayer which I tell myself and send good thoughts and wishes to the other person when they are rude to me. 🙏🌸
It helps me to be more open and like people more. Of course, I know where my limits are and I respect my needs.
