Hey Everyone, I’m writing to let you all know that I have a play about cPTSD opening in NYC and live-streaming anywhere (you can watch from any computer/ipad/phone) based on my own lived experience healing from trauma.

FUKT is an oddly uplifting personal tale of traumatic memory, murder & private parts! With zombies, a striptease and song, this immersive, fearless journey to bare all is a healing balm for anyone with a secret.

For 16+, there are warnings for the audience to cover your ears when anything graphic is discussed because 1 of the women onstage doesn’t want to hear it either. I am not trying to trigger anyone – I’m a survivor too!

I wrote this play so there could be real representation of what it’s like to try to heal from trauma for survivors and our families and friends to understand and to entertain! There’s a lot of humor, 2 songs, fisticuffs, etc – it’s a show that is UPLIFTING and hopeful. It is also accessible with tickets starting at $10 and a portion of every ticket goes to end sexual violence as a donation to the Take Back the Night Foundation. I hope you’ll join me and spread the word! Thank you!

TICKETS here: https://ci.ovationtix.com/35658/production/1138125 (if you want streaming tickets, you have to scroll down past the in-person tickets)

    Dear Emma,

thank you for letting us know. This is such a valuable work that you are doing! I am sorry that you’ve suffered childhood sexual abuse. But it’s so good to hear that you’ve healed, including by making art. That’s wonderful!

I am in a different time zone and won’t be able to see it at the time when it is live-streamed – is there a way to see it at a different time?
