Hey guys, I am currently at a crossroad in my life. I am a third year student at college majoring in business admin and while I am kicking butt in all of my classes and having a great social life yet I have an unclear idea of what I want to do with my life. I am aware that I like helping others, enjoy the medical field, embrace thinking on my feet, and being creative. While I often have this feeling that I have an idea of what I want to do with my life, it feels like it’s there and I can’t grasp it for some reason and I often hate discussing what I want to do after college since it makes me feel rather uneasy. Maybe I’m overthinking this entire idea in general but I feel optimistic I can find it, I just need to relax.

    Dear Frank:

Yes, relaxing will help you to think better and figure things out. Is there counseling available in your college, career counseling/ personal counseling? That could help. As well as perhaps peer counseling, that is, a group of students coming together to talk about their future, anxiety regarding the future, and so on.
