What really matters to me is that everyone and everything matters. Everyone and everything has a part to play in this wild and crazy world and it is up to us to recognize that in ourselves and in others – by listening and seeing deeply.

That’s very profound.  I fully believe no action, event or person is ‘self contained.’  Meaning everything that happens is part of a bigger, beautiful picture.  We’re just too close to it right now to see the whole tapestry.

What I like about your sentence, is that since everyone matters and everyone has their own part to play, there’s no room for jealousy or drama or a sense of someone taking from you.  We each have what we’re meant to have, and playing the part we’re meant to play.  We’re perfect for the specific role we’re playing.

    Kim a great reminder…

We do not “come into” this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree. As the ocean “waves,” the universe “peoples.” Every individual is an expression of the whole realm of nature, a unique action of the total universe.

Imagine a multidimensional spiderweb covered in dew in the morning, and every single drop of dew on this web contains in it the reflections of all the other drops of dew. And, of course, in turn, in every drop of dew that one drop reflects, there is the reflection of all the others again.

Thank you both, I really needed to hear those words today.
