Dear Pete:
To get unstuck, do something unusual, something that is outside your routine, like going on a difficult hike, doing a physically challenging task or an aerobic exercise that will escalate your breathing and heart rate, or maybe go to a gym on a day pass (if you are not a member) and swim in a cool water pool, and then spend time in the sauna and such, to wake yourself up this way. Then return to your thread.
