    Didn’t sleep much today and woke up a couple of hours ago but I’m still feeling energetic 🙂

    I am going to this really healthy restaurant called True Food in North Scottsdale. It’s been one of my very favorite places since it opened its doors in 2011. I was talking about digestion issues a few days ago, so I wanted to share the menu of this place with you all. Tell me what you like and what you believe would make your tummy and body feel good and I will share with you, what I’m going to order today.

    My beverages;

    1. Small cup of Hot honey lemonade with ginger (Excellent for the digestion) as ginger is potent and helps with that.

    2. Main beverage:

    A TROPI-KALE Smoothie which has, Kale, Coconut Milk, Pineapple, Lemon,
    Ginger Honey, Banana

    Entree;

    KALE & AVOCADO DIP which has, Pink Grapefruit, Cilantro, Roasted Poblano, Cotija Cheese & Pita Chips

    WILD CAUGHT ALBACORE TATAKI* GF – Snap Pea, Avocado, Radish, Carrot-Miso & Yuzu Dre

    ** Note ** These are not huge portions, as they are app’s, so they are small.

    Sweet treat/dessert (May not happen because I might get full fast with the smoothie’s consistency being so thick because of the banana) We’ll see lol.

    SEASONAL FRUITS, House-Made Granola, Greek Yogurt & Sea Buckthorn Syrup

    What would you all choose off the menu, if you had your choice? http://www.truefoodkitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/TFK-SQ_Menu_Brunch_WEB.pdf

    For dinner tonight I am cooking lentils that I have been soaking overnight. So later I am going to add onions, garlic, sea salt and other spices while it’s cooking for flavor, with a side of home-made guacamole. I’ll probably have to make a trip to WF to buy some organic avocados after brunch today.

    Well I’m off to go eat now. I am hungry like the wolf! Only had an organic apple and water since waking up. I’ll respond to other posts a little later today during my free time, while the lentils cook on the stove for dinner.

    To anybody reading this or already read this. Come to find out, that the so called green lentils were in fact split peas like I had originally suspected lol. Too funny. Anyway, I added fresh organic garlic, green onions, red onions, jalapeños, sea salt and black pepper. It came out really delicious and very filling! Luckily I didn’t end up going to WF beforehand as planned and made the right decision when leaving the restaurant to skip buying avo’s as I thought it would be a little much.

    Namaste-

    M.
