In work, as in the rest of life, I follow the motto “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything”. I thankfully work at an office with relatively little drama… or maybe there IS drama, I just don’t know about it because I refuse to participate in conversations that sound anything like gossip. Seriously, I will remove myself from the situation if that’s the case. No good comes from focusing on negativity or petty issues, so I do my best to make sure my own interactions with everyone are cordial and cheerful, and any criticism is professional and constructive.
