    Hello Jim,

It does not feel good sometimes when someone breaks up with you especially if you cared about that person. I understand the feeling well, and many people will tell you to move on, and that is a good suggestion. Pain is a warning sign and you should always listen to that feeling; however, don’t be afraid of it. If you do care about her, you could always give things time to cool down and then at a later point talk to her. As a warning, talking to her won’t necessarily bring you together again. The relationship is over.

It seems like you really cared for her. I cared for someone deep as well, and at times I still miss her. She has moved on, and I am still living. It’s not easy that’s for sure. It is true that life does go on. The question is how to live it from here on out?

You have to feel your emotions now. It is okay to cry or talk to someone. Don’t crush yourself, and by that I mean don’t destroy and attack yourself. Once you are ready to move on, focus on how to improve your life so that the next woman will be amazed as to how wonderful a person you are. More than that become stronger from this experience.

Anyway, take my words as a grain of salt, I still have a lot to learn myself.

If nothing else I hope the best for you, and you will get through it. As others have done so.
