I also began to meditate from last month. In the beginning, I tried metta mediation coz many people recommended it but I found it to be too difficult for me. I became very anxious when it’s about time to send loving-kindness to the person I have difficult with. I chose to send loving-kindess to my recent breakup ex and I found that I was unable to do it. Unfortunately, I always ended up crying or feeling very sad after the meditation. There’s one point when I was very reluctant to meditate coz I knew what the outcome would be. So I stopped.
Anyone experienced similar situation? Any advice?
