I do some moderate exercise but I probably should try to do more. Living where I do we really don’t have much sun, especially during the winter — I have a natural daylight lamp on my desk at work and it helps some. I am reading lots on the subject and all your replies are usually touched upon in these books (thank you for confirming that certain steps DO work) — I know my job (which requires absolute pefection) is stressing me and negative thoughts keep popping up. I am looking for another job but, we all know finding something can be difficult these days and I can’t loose the job I have. I have a ways to go — thank your for your support.

I have felt that way too — I’m thinking we need to find something to feel passionate about — not necessarily a person but something that excites us. I am stuck with a rather boring job, passively online dating, and trying new things but I have yet to find a great passion in my life. We need to find a way to get unstuck, so keep trying things. This doesn’t solve anything but sometimes it helps to know you are not alone with your feelings.

It is nice to know I am not alone (that at minimum is comforting) — I too have bad anxiety which I thought I had conquered but recent stress has brought it to the surface. I didn’t really think many people understood “crazy thoughts.” One thinks these crazy thoughts but past experience has proven that not many (any really) were acted on in my experience — one book I read said “you are not your thoughts” which I try to keep reminding myself. I kept trying many things to get rid of these thoughts, accupuncture, aruveydic medicine, yoga, and meditation, self-help books, mindfulness techniques. I guess I’m still learning/mastering and am disappointed I don’t have things under control. Taking progenycoach’s advice and will read the book by Weekes. Thank you. Any other advice is welcome.
