    Hi Isra,

So I believe patience is the solution to your problem. Restlessness, impulsiveness, impatience, etc can mess up your entire life if they aren’t controlled at the right time. They might force you to take rash decisions which might land you in a very serious problem and no amount of guilt or regret can help you to amend anything. So I advice you to become more patient. Tone down a bit.The following tips can help you to become patient. I have added only those tips that have worked for me.

    1) MEDITATION

Yoga and meditation are two different things. Yoga conditions your body and meditation conditions your mind. Practise meditation. Meditation also includes techniques to improve MINDFULNESS which will help you to stay more focused in life. Follow are the steps of meditation :

Step 1: Sit in a dark and silent room. Sit in a relaxed position. Make sure you feel very comfortable
Step 2: Join your hands, close your eyes and think of God for a couple of minutes
Step 3: After this, concentrate on your breathe. Don’t breathe in and out forcefully. Just concentrate on your breathe. Focus on how you inhale and exhale.
Step 4: Visualise everything that you did the previous day and simultaneously give yourself advice on what you should or shouldn’t have done, what you should or shouldn’t have said, etc. Bring those mistakes to your notice and improvise.
Step 5: Visualise what you are planning to do that particular day
Step 6: Prepare a schedule immediately

    2) PCCP spell

I call it the PCCP spell because whenever I tell the following statement to myself I feel super-relaxed. It works like a spell. Whenever I feel restless I tell myself ” Be PATIENT, CALM down, CALM down, be PATIENT”…I tell this 3-4 times and I feel relieved instantly. The level of anxiety drops down drastically. So whenever you start getting impulsive tell the above mentioned statement 3-4 times till you feel relaxed .

    3) CONCENTRATE ON YOUR BREATHE

Do this 3-4 times a day. Like I mentioned previously, don’t breathe in and out forcefully. Just focus on your breathe. See how you inhale and exhale. Do this 3-4 times a day and you will be flabbergasted with the results. It has helped me a lot to control my impulses. I hope it helps you too.

    4)SCHEDULE

Having a schedule will help reduce your frustration and inevitably will help you to reduce restlessness. I have been doing this for the past 5 years and I can assure you that your life will change drastically if you plan out things and follow them.
Prepare a schedule after meditation or the night before. Give time slots to each task. Once you get done with a particular task mark it. At the end of the day again see your schedule. Whatever isn’t marked include it in the next day’s schedule that is do it the next day.

    5) GIVE YOURSELF TIME

It takes time to develop patience but that’s okay. In the process of learning to become more patient, you will become more sorted and of course more mature. So don’t lose hopes if you find yourself getting impatient. It will take time but it will happen for sure. You might find yourself getting impulsive or frustrated but that’s okay. Work hard to be more patient. Do internet research if you want and I am sure your restlessness or impulsiveness will surely come down.

I hope the above advice has helped you to a certain extent. I hope you become more patient and may God bless you to become a better human being . All the best and take care.
