    To those who frequent this forum:

    We’re one week into our fundraising efforts and have raised nearly $12,000 of our $50,000 goal.

    Needless to say, this is incredibly moving and inspirational – it’s a very tangible way to measure people’s support of our efforts. But truly, more than that, it’s been the messages we’ve received along with the donations, the Facebook posts, the emails, the texts, etc. that have been so moving and encouraging.

    I thank those of you who have offered your support via this post here on Tiny Buddha and hope more people will come watch our Kickstarter video to learn what we’re doing.

    We’ve been filming our project for six months, and as you can imagine, have experience such amazing people- kind, warm, eccentric, and above all, happy. It’s been an incredible experience, but I must say, the generosity and kind words from strangers such as yourself who we’ve come to know through our Kickstarter campaign have been the most inspiring and moving part of the journey so far.

    The anonymity and satirical nature of the Internet makes it a breeding ground for negativity and mud slinging, so to experience the exact opposite thanks to generous and kind people like you… It’s just wonderful. Thank you.
