I’ve found that when your mind seems to be leaning towards becoming obsessive, its good to find yourself a guided meditation on what your going through. Whenever your mind starts to drift towards obsessive, angry, leading thoughts, the continuing soft words will bring its focus back to the matter at hand. I had the exact same problem when my relationship fell apart and I used forgiveness meditations to calm my thoughts and focus them towards more positive peaceful thinking.

It is not about replacing the animal, because you can never truly replace a living thing that you loved. But there is now a space in you that had previously experienced love and love needs to flow from there again. If adopting another pet isn’t an option then find something else you can turn you love towards, a new passion or hobby perhaps. Love and time are the best medicines
(I’ve experienced my kelpie puppy being run over, my border collie puppy being run over, one cat go missing never to be seen again, another be run over though thankfully survived, and most recently my own little kitten being run over, on my birthday no less)

Like you guys I adore coconut oil, as a moisturiser, for oil pulling and as a deep conditioner for my hair. Once I stock up on some more I’m also trying out a recipe I found to
turn it into a proper body butter for easier use and storage.
I’ve also started using bicarb (baking) soda and water for shampoo and apple cider vinegar and water for conditioner. I’ve heard that this doesn’t work for quite a few people
but for me its been amazing. I have super fine hair that is prone to getting tangles and since using this its so much softer and more manageable, I’d never go back 🙂

I had left all my friends and family behind to move across country with my boyfriend. We then started going through a breakup and I was left in a place I hated, sinking into depression. That was when I heard about instagram and gave it a try. I realised that taking photos was making me appreciate the beauty of the world and I threw myself into it whole-heartedly. Now over a year later I love where I live, I have learnt I am a creative spirit, and I am just happy with the wonder of life. And with the help of my found happiness and confidence my boyfriend and I worked out out our problems (many of which had been caused by my insecurities and unhappiness with life) and are now stronger and happier than ever.
