You are NOT at all psycho. Do not allow yourself to get beaten up over this!! I went through a breakup that tore me apart and even though the relationship was very unhealthy, I thought that my world was crumbling. I transferred colleges to start a “new” life, but soon realized that I couldn’t just run away from my feelings. I allowed myself to slip into depression and my grades came down with me. I tried replacing him with one-night stands and fake feelings. It took a very long time for me to figure out that I couldn’t even be in another relationship until I allowed myself to let him go. I started taking walks, disconnected from technology. I began meditating and praying to God more. I focused on myself and I’m still learning new things everyday!! I hope you overcome this difficult time. I know you will find happiness again, keep your head high 🙂

Thank you, both. It’s refreshing to know there are people out there that are as open-minded as you two are. I do have many friends, whom love me and enjoy my company, but I’ve noticed that I tend to dwell on the negative and I allow myself to get overwhelmed with everyday life. No matter how well my day is going, if one bad thing happens I think about it for the rest of my day. I hate that I do this!! I’ve been working really hard on keeping myself happy and growing as a person, but this world makes it very difficult haha

Sorry to hear that you’re struggling with negativity, Reagan!! I find myself feeling better about my life when I go for walks or drive around town with my music blaring (LOL). Maybe you should just get out of town for the weekend. Traveling alone can really help find yourself and open your mind. Read a book outside and enjoy nature. Go see a movie by yourself. Go shopping but don’t buy anything. Go do things that people normally don’t do alone. Try to do things that keep your mind off of the negative.
