    hi Rachel,
Know that you’re not alone in feeling stuck and confused. So many of us go through these times in life when we’re questioning-seeking-and you can look at it as an opportunity for clarity and growth.

Your comment, “I know I should be more than this”, stands out for me. I invite you to take a look at what underlies that statement. It seems like there are a lot of expectations and assumptions about ‘who you were supposed to be and what you should have accomplished by age 30’…it sounds familiar to me because I’ve been there.

From the outside looking in, you sound like an extremely successful person who has her stuff together. The problem is when the success we’ve created is based more on what others want than what really matters to us.

Over time, our priorities change. Maybe now is the time to step away from the outside pressures and expectations, get quiet and really reflect on what you want, how you want to feel, what matters to you, what genuine success would look and feel like to you now. When you have that clarity, decision making will be a bit easier.

Now in my mid forties, I’m realizing that there is no ‘right path’. The best we can do is make decisions that feel right to us at this time, stay in motion, reflect, and keep going through the process. It’s an ongoing journey. Create your own path. You get to choose what that looks like. I know it can feel scary. Trust yourself.

Lee, I think you already know the answer to your question. It sounds like your intuition has been speaking to you for some time…it’s a matter of whether you are willing to listen.

It sounds like you set a goal and reached it, so now you need to find a new goal. Except you have changed over the twenty years, and what you once wanted may not be as important to you as what you want now. I think this is part of the ebb and flow of life. When you live in more alignment with your values and what your heart is calling you to do, you will feel more settled.

That said, change is always scary. Especially when you have a level of success that is admired. Maybe it’s time to get clear about what success means to YOU now. Trust your intuition, it will guide you.
