To answer your questions:

1. I watch lots of movies, so I’ll just give you the top five. Mean Girls, Slumdog Millionaire, West Side Story, Jackson 5: An American Dream, and finally, Persepolis.
2. For a particular preference, I love romantic comedies, basically any love movie. I love anime, Japanese animation too, but those are shows. So animated movies are good too. I also love movies that have a lot of diversity.
3. The films I dislike are The English Patient,( I was dying of boredom watching that since it was 3 hours long,) The Notebook, (I know every female loves that movie, but it’s a little melodramatic for someone who’s a woman myself and it’s just depressing), and the Twilight movies. That franchise just sends the WRONG MESSAGES to females who are in relationships.
4. I really want to see Deadpool, but since you said you’re not much a film buff and not into blockbusters, I can’t recommend that to you. But it’s a superhero movie, if you like those. I also would recommend The Stoning of Soraya M., Scent of a Woman, and The Godfather.
