And he didn’t specify at which point he felt guilt, which made it sound like he felt that way throughout the relationship. I am angry now that I think about it – there had been a few points during the relationship when I said I wanted to end the relationship and he begged for me to reconsider. If in fact what he’s saying is true, you’d think that during those times he’d have had the perfect excuse to leave things be and let me end it, but to the contrary he wanted me to stay.
