It reads to me like you are ashamed and feel very uncomfortable about not being a virgin, it being that in your culture it is considered shameful to be unmarried and a virgin. You wrote that you shared with him that you are not a virgin, that maybe that was too honest of you to have shared that. Did I understand correctly?

Did you write that he shared that information with the mutual friend, that you are not a virgin? If so, was it a betrayal of your confidence in him?
