Wow… you are all such strong souls. Thank you for sharing your experiences and feelings, you have helped me so much.
Actually I only realised I am in this situation yesterday, so it’s all a bit too raw to share much yet. The guy I’m in love with is Sri Lankan too, that’s how I found the thread. There is such sadness right now in Sri Lanka, and I don’t know how to process this at the same time. His family are Buddhist, but this is culture and tradition and family thing – just seems so cruel, and so sad.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you – just to read from all of you means I don’t feel so alone.
