Dear natalee:

The following is ALL that you posted since December 2021. I will edit spelling and I will boldface your lol-s and other light-hearted expressions:

Dec 1, 2021: “and me and my ex had a one-night stand in October, and we tried dating again, but we both wanted to stay friends, which was alright with me lol“.

Dec 2: “I am almost 17, in February. and yes, I will, I promise I will, I have all A’s and one B so far”.

Dec 3: “yes anita lol, and pretty good at this point. just I am trying not to focus on this one boy lol, and I am doing pretty good at it”, “I mean I am doing pretty good at not focusing on him, and better at focusing on my studies and all”.

Dec 6: “thank you so much. I just do not want to be in that mess again. I am happy for my ex; he has a new girl. all I can be is happy, just like he is happy for me”, “thank you so much, I hope your happy too. And I will. Also, how old are you lol?”

Dec 10: “your welcome, and like how much older lol?”

February 2, 2022: “heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy how you been?”

February 7: “Haha, I will be 17 in a few weeks actually. Anyways, I learned a lot, but one thing that I did is that DO NOT stick on your ex if he hates you, even though last month we had it again, ugh, but I am over that. Now, I applied for a new job and focusing on my school and getting better grades, not my ex and boys. I am single and have been for a while, just one-night stands with my ex like 3 times, and the problem is, he is good at it, but like yeah which is okay”, “awww thanks and yes lol but thank you. yes, I have, we had anal, and I thought I was due to like gaining 6 pounds and increase urination, but I had my period three times since then and 7 days each so lol“.

Feb 8: “because I thought I was pregnant because the weight gain and the increased urination our factors, but now I know I am not pregnant”.

Within the 7 light-hearted lol-s, a heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, an ugh and an awww there was almost a pregnancy.

There is a widespread traditional glorification of mothers by society. Mother’s Day cards are full of such assertions, one example out of thousands: “Moms have the kindness of angels and the patience of saints”.

Well, in reality, it is not uncommon for a girl or a young woman to be too far from being an angel. Too often a girl or a young woman becomes a mother for no other reason but carelessness: a few lol-s, an awww, an ugh, and…. ooops, I am having a baby!

Every baby and young child looks up to his/ her mother as a supreme being, all capable, all knowing, all loving, indeed and angel and a saint. How sad it is when a child is hit with the reality that his mother simply lol-ed him into existence.
