thank you so much for your feisty reply – hee hee! Yes I am aware that I do put myself at the ‘bottom of the totem pole’ but I don’t know why? I think it may have been my religious up bringing that taught me to treat others in the way I would like to be treated, but I never learnt anything about needing to care for myself at all. I will try doing some reading by the author you suggested. Thanks for your comment about that you would have died literally, and about your pain endurance, it did make me feel a bit less guilty. It has been good to know that there are some lovely people out there willing to help another person who they don’t even know :-).
