Perhaps you could try to do some type of volunteer work for an environmental organisation?
This would help you gain some hand’s on experience (and you would be able to learn a lot from others on the best ways to maybe gain employment there eventually, as well as what areas of work you’d suit the most) I don’t know what places you could try in Canada but WWF (World Wide Fund for nature) and Greenpeace would most likely be there?
