Oh, here is a tool that might work for not sleeping: slow, mindful yoga stretches, or just stretches- when you feel a stretch in your body, your attention automatically moves from the thinking, thinking brain to the body: getting physical (by exercise or stretching) really works. Also, try slow motion movement, the idea behind Tai Chi, just doing some exercise slow, slow motion, that slows that thinking, rushing brain as well.
