Sounds like the pressure of being someones “best friend” is getting to you. Nervousness and anxiety won’t make the relationship any better, it’ll just make it tense, awkward and feel like work. Friendships are meant to be easy going and fun, you don’t want your negativity to be what pushes her away. Take the pressure off being “best friends” by RELAXING and TRUSTING the fact that you both mean so much to each other. You know how much you care, and she has expressed the same to you. If you continue to be yourself while remaining honest and respectful, I’m sure that your friendship will continue to blossom. 🙂
