No shoulder, but hip bursitis a few years ago. Rehab with physiotherapists for a whole summer, plus repeatedly using Louise Hay’s affirmation for hip issues… agreat combo. No more bursitis there at all!
Affirmations, with thanks to Louise Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life:
Hip: “Hip hip hooray! There’s joy in every day! I am in perfect balance. I mofve forward in life with ease and with joy at every age.”
Shoulder: “I am free to be joyous!”
(well that’s short n sweet!)
Hi Kate, Thanks so much for the ideas. I actually have the Louise Hay book but haven’t referred to it in a while… thanks for the great reminder! And of course, PT is always a good thing, right?
PT is a great idea, as Kate said, but I recommend seeing an acupuncturist who is competent in herbs and body work for a full recovery. They will treat both the root of the issue as well as the acute symptoms.
Feel free to contact me if you need help finding a good practitioner!
A shame to hear your in pain but I was uplifted to see all the great suggestions for alternative healing and referencing to Louise Hay. The main thing is to understand what your body is trying to communicate to you – Debbie Shapiros: you body speaks its mind is a good book when your starting out learning body communication. With the premis that illness is the weak spot so the flow of energy gets trapped and blocked there… once understood and block cleared the body will heal itself back to balance.. I hate to plug but do check out my site too as I might be able to help…www.rediscoverthemagic.com xx
Yes, I worked with both hips and shoulder bursitis… It’s easy to fix, balance restore -with Bowen Therapy/ or Bowenwork a little about Bowen Therapy if you have not heard of it.
Bowen energises and balances the entire body by producing a sense of relaxation and well-being. It boosts the immune system, brings about release of toxins from the tissues and enhances energy levels. It not only treats the presenting symptoms, but the entire body from the very first session.
