    Hi everyone,

I am watching an excellent documentary mini series about food. It’s put out by the BBC and it’s called, “The Truth About Food”.
What I really love about this documentary is that it shows through scientific testing exactly how our eating habits effect our body. But what’s really amazing is that they uncover many myths that we hold about food. They cover everything from cholesterol, pro biotics, food consumption psychology, food and sex, how sugar effects children, how dairy blocks fat consumption, how women and men react to certain types of food and on and on. What’s really interesting is seeing how many long held beliefs we have about food are dispelled. It totally changes my understanding about nutrition.

The way they do it is by running experiments on groups of people. They use MRI’s, test our poop, put cameras down peoples stomachs and see what happens etc… They also have top scientists and nutritionists running these experiments. It’s also done in fun way so you don’t get bored watching it. It also not biased from what I can tell. They don’t talk about food industries or organizations. It’s mostly just people being tested. The only thing that I didn’t like so much was there were some gross parts as well but fortunately they’re not complete gross out.

I think if you watch it you will be totally blown away by what they uncover. It will really make you conscious about your food choices but don’t worry, you won’t feel bad about your eating habits by watching it. It’s just that you’ll discover why you have certain eating habits to begin with. It’s on YouTube as a 6 part series, and here is the link…
