    Hi Friends,

I am happy to tell you guys that my solo trip to Ireland was a big hit! i had the time of my life but it didn’t turn out to be the “soul searching” and meditating journey I wanted it to be. Instead, it became real fun, drinking, dancing and getting lost in the fall colors.

I met someone in Ireland. I didn’t go out looking for him but there he was. He is one of the nicest people i have ever met and he genuinely cares about me. Of course given my track record with long distance relationships, we are both going to be friends and nothing more. We spent hours just talking to each other about each other. he makes me feel at ease being myself. He lets me in which is something i never got from any relationship of mine. We are both very clear about not having any expectations for the future but my heart keeps going back to the feeling of true intimacy he gave me. I know its just the feeling of acceptance that my heart is craving like a drug. I am well aware of why i am getting attached to this individual. He is coming to visit in April with friends and he keeps telling me to look forward to April but then what?

Any suggestion on how to get past this? I cherish the great times i had on my vacation and i am very grateful to have met a man like him. I know no one can tell me what to do so i won’t ask that question. I just want to know how to let go of this attachment. i want him in my life as a friend. would love to have more but that is not an option being an ocean away. oh also, we got intimate physical as well but not as much as we got close emotionally. Thoughts?

There are few moments in our lives that make us really FEEL something special, and those moments are to be dearly cherished! If you feel connected with him, then just enjoy the moment! Who knows, he might be your soulmate.
