    Hey everyone,

    I kind of just want to share this story to hear anyone who wants to shares feedback and thoughts and if anyone can relate.

    I have been dating my BF for almost a year. We used to be inseparable and talk and be together 24-7

    The past 2 months or so it started slowing slowing down now he ignores me all the time and takes hours upon hours ( sometimes 6 or more) to text me back. And some days we won’t even talk at all.

    I asked him multiple times if something was bothering him and why he is ignoring me but he keeps saying everything is fine.

    It is just driving me insane that he wont open up because clearly something is wrong and I cant take it anymore.

    I really just to vent and if anyone has any ideas or can relate I would love to hear!

    Dear Shelly:

    From the title I thought he was completely ignoring you, but he is not COMPLETELY ignoring you. I also thought he disappeared from your life by the title of your other thread: MIA. Maybe he really is busy; you are very anxious, you wrote so in your first thread.

    I hope you can find a way to calm yourself- there are ways, competent therapy can help you with insight into the origin of your anxiety and teach you skills, and most important, Mindfulness, so that you are way, way less desperate for assurance and reassurance.

    Did you share about your anxiety to your boyfriend? Does he know how upset you are about him not contacting you often enough?
