Let me say this, people use me in professional settings. Perhaps they enjoy a chance to reject someone. I find that people bully me. As someone who is unafraid to be myself I can understand that some people will be a hater – but it’s gotten to the point where I have 50% haters so I need a better way to manage/handle that. The big problem is that I find people do not value what I have to offer. If you are worth what someone will pay, I need them to pay attention. I have a very “enlightened” energy, which makes me experience a sense of transcendence, do they see something that transcends the physical world like money, and then think that the response is to not pay me? No matter what power I have to help people experience that, I deserve a living. The world owes me a living.

I’m done being used, I’m done with people taking out their aggression or bumping up their ego, my friends generally don’t fall into this trap, it’s more people that I don’t really know, so what’s my leverage in this situation to demand my worth

    Hello, Miss.

It sounds like your work involves some sort of sales-woman-ship. Have you received any genuine critique for your methods? Have you had a mentor? Don’t expect to have honest critique from friends, they are biased.

Hey, Miss. In hindsight I felt I may have seemed a bit condescending. It wasn’t my intention, so let me try this again..

The reason you get rejected is most likely not a simple reason, but something that is caused by countless factors, many of them being things that you can’t control.

You should try to find someone who mentors you. The reason you get your requests rejected *could* be something that is within your control. Friends can be reassuring and encouraging (which is why they can be valuable), but they are most often not honest about critique.

Your transcendent abilities definitely seems like a big strength to have in your work. It’s important for professionals to reach a state of mind where they are detached from their work and their careers.
