I met a guy on OKCupid a couple of months ago, and we hit it off right away. He told me off the bat that he was going to be volunteering in Chile until August of this year, and I was fine with that because I was just looking to have some fun. We had a great 2 weeks and got pretty close, closer than I thought I would be to him at that point. By the time that he left I was wishing he wouldn’t leave because I wanted to explore what we had. We had been texting a lot and he told me, “I will stay in touch and will see you next time I’m in ___” (which will be when he gets back, his parents own and live in an inn in the small town where I live). I really like him, but I know I shouldn’t get hung up on him. I want to explore new relationships and new people, but I find that I keep comparing them to him. Should I keep going on new dates? Take a break? Wait for him?
