    Dear Madi:

(Should I address you as Anja?)

I want to understand your guilt better, therefore I ask: how has been your relationship with your parents, any guilt involved there?

    Hi Anita,

My apologies, that was a mistake. My name is Madi.

I would say my relationship with my parents has been very positive. They are very supportive and caring and often support me in chasing my dreams. I think I do feel bad that I am not able to reach what I think their expectations are of me.

    Love,

    Madi

    Dear Madi:

You wrote in your post before last: “I was often alone in my youth and never made any strong connections. When I met my friend, it was the first time I was instantly able to make a connection.. I often do take the blame.. because of this fear I have of trying to keep people close”

In your recent post you wrote: “my relationship with my parents has been very positive. They are very supportive and caring and often support me in chasing my dreams. I think I do feel bad that I am not able to reach what I think their expectations are of me”.

I wonder (1) what are your dreams. (2) what are your parents’ expectation of you (3) alone in your youth, no strong connections with peers and with your parents?
