You know sometimes when you think your life is going at just the right track, things are happening as you always wanted them to and you are going to achieve whatever you dreamt of, suddenly life takes a turn, every single dream is broken and you think you have lost all that you had. You curse your fate because that is the only reason you find, you blame God for choosing YOU each time his victim and you start believing no matter how hard you try you are meant to stay where you are. All the time when people say to you “believe in good” “have faith”, the only thought that occupies your mind is “you better mind your own business because you won’t understand what I have been through.” Isn’t it? You avoid facing people because you don’t want to feel dejected again, you simply don’t want them to repeat the same fake words of hope and patience. The only thing that remains is the hateful truth of your life with which you are forced to sustain. That’s all. Life moves on. But you willingly chose to remain wherever you are because you think nothing holds good for you or maybe you are too fearful to face another rejection. And at that moment you are dead. You are no more of a person you were always meant to be, you have lost the path that was created for you and then you are nothing more than just a name in memories.
Hey hold on… let’s just think it this way for once. Had you not been rejected in software engineer job interview you wouldn’t have discovered that you can actually do well in accounts, and this is the area of your interest that you failed to found. Had that man not left you wouldn’t have believed that you actually never loved him and it was as if you loved the clothes, made the first man that came to your life wear that and all the time you kept loving the clothes and not the person. Realization comes when we come out of what is locked inside our head, when we choose to see the other side although it may seem the darker one.
The first thing you need to believe is that God loves us more than any measurable count and he will protect us against all odds. Have faith in the supreme power that he won’t let anything bad happen to us. His planning for us might me different than us but His ways are never wrong. For everything that happens there is reason in heaven, though it might remain hidden to us at this moment. Accept with all your heart whatever comes your way because that falls as a blessing from Allah. When you think you have lost all that you had, surrender to God, He will sail you through. With complete surrender there comes an unbounded strength to never cry again no matter what worse may come because that is the Divine strength, the enduring one! Till you chose to fight with your destiny you will be a mere sufferer.
I always chose to let go, I chose to accept every defeat as Gods fair way and I chose to be happy. I don’t weep over the closed door rather I am thankful that it was… I don’t sob for the man who left because I would have never realized I never loved him because I was always fearful that he might leave… I don’t shed tears for the untouched success that would have changed my entire life because that wouldn’t have introduced me to writing.
This moment see what you still have rather focusing on what you could have. You don’t have millions of years to spend some twenty years on weeping on your failures and another twenty to realize your mistake and another twenty to rearrange your life. It’s this moment that you must begin to see that the world aint that bad that you always thought it to be. There is still another path full of love, happiness and fulfillment because that’s what matters in the end. Isn’t it? Money won’t change who we are and how we think. Things won’t last forever; they need to be mended, repainted and reformed. The only thing that will sustain with you till the very end is your own self, your own voice and The God!February 18, 2014 at 7:40 pm #51289LilyParticipantWell put, Geetika! It is great that you are finding peace, comfort and love in your own voice and in God’s words.
I am with you on this – one of the things I thank God for (and I never used to pray until a couple of month ago) is for the doors that have been closed, the prayers that went unanswered — these redirections are what will take me to the destination I am meant to go to. I am not there yet, but I am trying to accept every redirection (I wont call it defeat because it is more of a win than anything else!) as one that is much better than my plans and will bring me greater happiness.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and lessons 🙂 Warmth and light your way.
