Dear Sunflowerbabe:

I wasn’t aware that you shut down when he told you that he  loved you (“I learned that I cannot shut down when someone say they love me”). I wonder what’s behind that shutting down, probably fear, I am thinking.

“I learned that I need to do the things I enjoy without worrying about my family”- there is fear behind worrying, fear that your family will not be okay if you do your own thing and enjoy yourself (?). Maybe guilt as well, that you shouldn’t enjoy yourself away from your family while they are not enjoying themselves (?)
