I have been loyal to my job for 4 years now and have been 99% happy but recently people have over-stepped their boundaries because of the holiday’s. Greed has brought out the worst in people I work with and it makes me sick. My attitude is – “I’m sorry it’s December and you want to buy presents for your kids and all but you’ve had all year to save your money and buy them months before.” I’ve observed the craziest behaviors these last 3 weeks because of the holidays and the greed that comes along with it. I am cringing at the fact that I have to be in the same envoirnment and negative energy for the next 2 weeks. Nobody has gone out of their way to dis-respect me but the energy is negative and greed. I’ve seen colleagues that I dearly love get disrespected lately and it pisses me off. All I have to say is Karma. Shaking my head… I can’t wait to start my new job after my month off. I’m glad I decided to take another job because I don’t want myself to be surrounded by bad people, as I’ve worked hard to only surround myself with good people.

Anyway, I am definitely still really happy with my life and grateful for all the beautiful and priceless things I am blessed with. Just really looking forward to leaving a bad envoirnment for my soul and well being. 🙂

    Namaste

    Hello ElleTinker700,
Holidays have gotten so out of control lately – I really don’t understand this greed to buy so much stuff! What’s everyone going to do with that much stuff? And to have to work more hours, step on other people, to make a few extra bucks – what a sad state of things!

You seem to have a good head on shoulders to be able to observe it with detachment 🙂 Good Luck at your new job – I hope it’s a more peaceful environment for you!!
