    Hi all,

I am more than happy to be back on excellent terms with my adult kids – for months now – after years of bad relations following my divorce.

My message for anyone going through this is to be consistent and keep trying. No matter how painful your divorce, try to send your message of love to the kids and try to keep them out of it. Eventually hard work and time rebuild relationships.

Their mom and I have been on good terms for a while now, and that was key to rekindling my relationship with our kids.

    Hey Big Blue,

You have responded to so many of my posts with positive words and encouragement. I want to say that it is great that you are reconnected with your kids. My boys were/are young when my marriage ended, and although I won’t have and don’t want a relationship of any kind with ex, I know that I will always have a good relationship with my sons.

I didn’t have to face the hardship of not being with my kids. I’m glad you got that back in your life. You sound like a good person and father. You deserve it.

    Take care
