    hi

    im hopeless in relationships. I have been hooking up with a guy on and off as we are both married. I know.. I know . We were together a week ago and I am moving away for 12 months. Upon saying goodbye I said see you in12 months. He replied that he’d like to see me again before I leave which I’d already told him was in 2 weeks. I must have pulled a face or something as he said oh don’t you want too. I then said no that’d be good. So he kissed me and said so call me when we can meet.

    So I left all happy and on the post sex high. So now I’m second guessing- shouldn’t he call me or at least text me to say hi. I don’t want him to leave his wife as I can’t leave my husband so am I’m placing too much emphasis on texts . Does he think I’m not as interested??

    It’s doing my head in. He could have just said yeah see you in 12 months.

    Dear Michelle:

    I wouldn’t like to give you advice about how to…improve this extra-marital relationship, as the two of you are married to other people. I can’t in good conscience suggest ways for you to feel better about this relationship. Don’t want to do the very little I can possibly be doing to encourage it.

    If there is anything you need help with that will not include me encouraging you to maintain this unfortunate relationship, do let me know.

    When you said you can’t leave your husband then it’s already decided this affair will not end well. That means you only are with the man for emotional support that your husband cannot give you. That is a dangerous path. Plus, it is a long distance affair. Another 12 month of seeing each other? That will make things even harder. Without seeing a rainbow at the end of the tunnel, why do you even bother? Why does he even bother?
