Recently I have sent a long text to a guy that I dated for the past 2+ month. We are now in a long distance. We would contact each other on a daily basis but after sending the text he didn’t reply me anything. Now I really regret sending the long text to him. The text sound like calling it quit without giving him a chance to say anything. Someone please help

    Dear Jassica:

Maybe send him a short text, something like: “I regret sending you the last long text I sent you, calling it quit without giving you a chance to say anything. Can you disregard that text, best you can?”

and based on his reply, you can text him again, redoing your previous text by making it shorter, and giving him a chance to reply, asking for his input.

    Hi Jassica,

As a general rule, never send long texts when it comes to emotional matters.

My sister sent me a text longer than my supposed infraction warranted. It made her look crazy. She realized the next day how crazy her novella length text was, and then she tried to make it better. But that only made it worse and made her look legit crazy.

Let it go. Let it lie. Don’t even talk about it. Don’t apologize either if it’s brought up.

    And never do that again.

Better to say emotional things face to face.

    Good Luck!
