Fortune and misfortune are two buckets in the same well
    German Proverb

Good fortune and evil fortune come to all things alike in this world of time.

    Moasi

I am trying to find deeper meanings to these two proverbs in relation to chance, and luck. Can anyone give me their incentives on this?

I am trying to find who Moasi is, although I cannot seem to find anything about this person.

Thank you so much, I look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts.

    Dear lil.lily:

My understanding of “Good fortune and evil fortune come to all things alike” is that any person may suffer from evil fortune, like a hurricane. The hurricane is not selective, it will destroy “the good, the bad and the ugly.” Nothing personal. Same with good fortune like maybe, winning the lottery: no moral selection done ; the winning is random.
