Thank you all so much for all this advice! I actually do feel so much clearer on what I need to do and how to figure out what I want.
Thank you thank you!!! Best wishes to everyone! 🙂

I do feel paralyzed, but more than that, I feel sort of in limbo. I feel like I’ve been waiting for something for a long time but it hasn’t shown up. Some kind of drastic life change. I know I will change, because I’m very young and will eventually make enough money and move out, but that’s not the kind of change I feel like I need. I feel unable to create the change I need because I don’t know the specifics of what I want! So that’s why I left it up to the universe, with the hope that maybe the universe will know what’s best for me.
I’ve felt helpless to change my life sometime after high school, when I realized I couldn’t succeed in college and I enrolled in two schools and wasn’t happy in either of them. Since then I’ve settled even more at home, but I’m not happy here either.
I feel like the synchronicities I’m getting with numbers must be an indication of something happening, but I don’t know what to do about it! What action should I take? I just feel very confused most of the time.

Hi Anita! You’re right, it does sound pretty vague. The things is, I don’t really know. I’ve daydreamed mostly about travel and grand love stories, probably because I read and fantasized about stories so much as a child. I would love to travel someplace out of my city, though I have travelled before and I didn’t find the fulfillment I was seeking. A great adventure, for me, I suppose would be some kind of exciting trip out of my state that I wasn’t expecting beforehand, I just don’t know where I would go! I asked the universe for the kind of adventure that would suit me the best, some kind of travel that was fated to be. I hope that clears something up, because I feel pretty confused myself…

    Hi Sann!
Dowsing is such a helpful tool for me and I love using the pendulum, and though I’m not an expert, here’s my take on things.
I think a huge part of it is practice. I know it took me a long time to really get used to things and build my own little system for the pendulum to work on. Have you tried communicating with your pendulum? It sounds silly, but it helped me a lot to sit and really think about what I wanted it to do. (Vertical for yes, horizontal for no, sideways to the left for maybe, sideways to the right for “I can’t tell you.”) It doesn’t matter what you use for your pendulum, but it really helped me once I figured out my system. For example, you could hold it and meditate on each command, such as clearly stating everything in your head, like “move horizontal and only horizontal for yes,” etc. After a while it should follow those commands accurately.
As far as it giving wrong answers, it’s true that there could be lots of reasons to why it does that. For me I find that if I don’t feel completely clear or open, the pendulum definitely tells me just what I want to hear. This is especially true if I’m very attached to the subject I’m asking about. Really focus on clearing you head beforehand! And it’s true that it can be a wrong time for the answer, which is why I have my pendulum indicate that to me by moving sideways to the right. You can also print out and try a pendulum board! Those are very in depth and helpful in accessing your intuition, though I find using one to be kind of draining as it requires a lot of focus for me.
I would probably start with shorter sessions in the beginning, because I remember getting tired very quickly before I got comfortable with it.
I hope I could help! These are all just from my personal experience, so feel free to fill any gaps in with your own intuition. Good luck! 🙂
